| You may have been looking for another Jim Bryson, a member of the Tennessee Senate. Jim Bryson is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Briefly a founding member of the band Punchbuggy, he launched a solo career with the release of his debut album, The Occasionals, in 2000. He is also a frequent guest musician with Kathleen Edwards. While still relatively unknown in the United States, Bryson has toured Canada and the United Kingdom extensively over the past few years. In addition to his own releases, his guitar playing and singing can be heard on numerous recordings, most recently with Edwards, Sarah Harmer and Howe Gelb. Discography
