| Jim Riggs is a saxophonist and professor at the University of North Texas. He was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1941. Riggs performs regularly with the Dallas and Fort Worth Symphonies. A recording artist himself, he has instructed many prominent alumni of the Jazz Studies program of UNT.
