| For the English Renaissance composer of Madrigals, see John Farmer (1570-1605) John Farmer August 16 1835 - July 17 1901 was the music master at Harrow School, and later organist at Balliol College, Oxford He wrote a number of school songs for Harrow, and wrote the music for the Harrow Football Song "Forty Years On", with Edward Bowen writing the lyrics.
