| John Ferguson is an organist and composer. He is probably best known for his choral compositions, though he has also written elaborate arrangements for organ, brass, and percussion of hymns and Lutheran liturgy, and has appeared on several recordings. He presently is professor of organ and church music at St. Olaf College.
