John Rocca was born September 23 1960 in London England and is a dance music/disco performer. He is the lead singer of the dance groups Freeez and Pink Rhythm and he has also recorded as Midi Rain. As a solo artist he has hit #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "I Want It To Be Real" in 1984; as Midi Rain he topped the dance chart again with "Shine" in 1993.
