| Jon Levasseur is the shredder of extreme metal band Cryptopsy from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Jon used to write music for earlier Cryptopsy and also wrote all of the guitar work and on their album "None So Vile".
That album was probably his most spectacular, as his complex high speed riffs and solos were all mindshattering. His work on "None So Vile" has earned him recognition as one of the most talented extreme metal guitarists of all time. Jon was also wrote a considerable amount of music for the album "Once Was Not" and also performed on the record, alongside guitarist Alex Auburn.
