Joost van den Broek ( Also Known as Juicy or Juiced )is a keyboardist, and was born on the 13th of July 1982. He has 12 years of musical expirience, continuing to the present day. He studied for 4 years, obtaining a degree in Music production and the use of keyboards. He then went on to study for a master's degree in Music Technology. Joost is known for his ability and skill with the Keyboard, and also for his use of the Keytar, a keyboard in the shape of a guitar, which is played with one hand controlling the keyboard, and the other used to operate buttons and other controls on the neck of the instrument. In his veried musical carrier, Joost has performed and recorded alongside Sun Caged, ANAND, VandenBerg and Robby Valentine. He has also worked with Star One/Ayreon, alongside Floor Jansen.

He has been significantly influenced by: Steve Vai, Derek Sherinian, Ayreon, Star One, Muse, Jamiroquai and Devin Townsend. In the album After Forever, Joost has diversified his music still further, taking himself to another professional level, having had the opertunity to collaborate on the composition and production of the album alongside other band members.
