| Joe Butler (born Joseph Campbell Butler, on 16 September, 1941, in Long Island, New York was a founding member of The Lovin' Spoonful. A drummer-vocalist, he came from Long Island and earned a role filling in the musical production "Hair". In 1991 Joseph Campbell Butler reunited with other former members of The Lovin' Spoonful for a reunion tour.
