Julia Biel (born 5th January 1976) is a British jazz singer and composer.

After a spell in Indie rock, Biel went to study at the University of Oxford, where she became involved with jazz. Her career took off when in 2000 she won the Perrier Jazz Vocalist of the Year award. She has performed around the U.K. to great critical acclaim; her first album is Not Alone (2005), which features songs co-written with guitarist Jonny Phillips, with whom she has collaborated for some years.

Biel is also a professional singing teacher, based in London.
