| Karl Ristenpart (January 26, 1900 – December 24, 1967) was a German conductor. He was born in Kiel, Germany and studied at the Stern Conservatory in Berlin and in Vienna. In 1932 he became the conductor of the Berlin Chamber orchestra, as well as conducting concerts for the Berlin Radio Orchestra. After the war, he conducted the chamber orchestra of the Radio in the American Sector of Berlin. In 1953, he became the conductor of the Chamber Orchestra of the Saar, and he made many recordings and toured widely with this group. He died in Lisbon, Portugal.
