| Matt Lukin was a founding member and bassist for The Melvins. When The Melvins relocated to San Francisco, California in 1988 he stayed in Washington to form the band Mudhoney. Lukin left Mudhoney in June 1999. He briefly rejoined Mudhoney from December 2000 to January 2001 for a short tour. The song "Lukin" by Pearl Jam was named after Matt Lukin.
