| Milford Graves (born August 20, 1941) is a free jazz drummer and play different kinds of percussion of all the world. He was born in the Jamaica neighborhood in Queens, New York City. He has recorded or performed with Albert Ayler, the New York Art Quartet, John Zorn and others. Graves teaches at Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont.
