Paolo started his musical career in 1992 with a prog trio called Nice Price, realizing a mini-album and a few compilations. The Hammond organ, his foundamental instrument, is soon joined by several vintage machines such as Moog and ARP synthesizers, electric pianos, Eminent and Mellotron.

In 1997 he starts his collaboration with The Link Quartet, a sixties lounge/acid jazz ensemble. With this band, Apollo publishes two ’45's and the first album for the Spanish label Animal Records, two albums for the American Hammondbeat Records (the same label that will publish a series of official bootlegs of the band) and one album for the italian Recordkicks.

The Link Quartet is involved in several compilations and works with some of the most important labels from Europe and USA (such as Sony, Acid Jazz, Saifam). With this band Paolo performs all over Europe and, in 2003 and 2004, all over the USA as well, meeting on the stage with musicians such as Manu Chao, Brian Auger, The Yardbirds, James Taylor Quartet, Bonniwell Music Machine, The Chocolate Watchband, Big Boss Man, The Men from S.P.E.C.T.R.E., Diplomats of Solid Sound, Downliners Sect, Montefiori Cocktail, Boogaloo Investigators and many more. In the year 2000, Apollo joins the Wicked Minds’ line up, a hard-progressive band with whom he realizes three albums, the first for W-Records (Italy) and the following two for Black Widow Records (Italy), receiving the ovation from a great number of specialized magazines all over the world.

In 2001, he performs on the main stage of Arezzo Wave with John Belpaese, opening for Max Gazzè. In 2002 he starts his collaboration with Ray Daytona and Googoobombos and realizes “Fasten seat belt” album for Ammonia Records (with the incredible cover done by Winston Smith). In the same period he collaborates with Titty Twisters Orchestra recording the album for Gonna Puke Records and playing at the Wild Weekend in Spain. In 2005 he joins Mastica, a psychedelic prog band considered one of the best bands in the sixties circuit and, after many gigs all over Europe, realizes a ’45 for the Swedish label Crusher Records and a 10 inch for the Italian Misty Lane Records.

Considered one of the finest Hammond players in Italy, in the studio he has collaborated with: The Rookies, Je ne t’aime plus, David Stockdale, No Limits, Sim, Anatre Supreme, Kim’s Teddy Bears, Gianluca Pighi, Paisley Windowpaine and many more.
