Pat Calpin has been in United States-based ska band Catch 22 since before the release of the album Alone in a Crowd. - He Began Playing Guitar when he was 12 years old, he has played other instruments such as the Bass Guitar, and Saxaphone - In 2000, as the bassist, but soon to become the guitarist of the band. Although he is now the current guitarist for Catch 22, his guitar style is very much different then the guitar styles of Tomas Kalnoky the former guitarist. Calpin uses the traditional guitar strumming technique of ska strumming, but also uses a rock feel as well, as other different techniques, which sets him apart from Tomas Kalnoky. Calpin co-wrote the song "Chin up" off of Dinosaur Sounds with Ryan Eldred. He will be playing guitar on the upcoming Catch 22 album Permanent Revolution.

Pat lives in Califon, New Jersey, and has two siblings. On his off time he runs a woodworking and cabinetry shop with his brother and father.
