| Paul Wertico (born January 5, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois) is a jazz drummer. He performed for many years with the Pat Metheny Group. In 2000, he found travelling all over the world with the Pat Metheny Group taking too much of his time away from his family. He now runs his own band, and performs in the Illinois area around Chicago. He is now a member of the legendary Polish progressive rock band SBB. He has won seven Grammy awards.
