Rob Baker is a Canadian rock musician from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is the lead guitarist of the very successful Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip known for his long hair and beard, tight black pants and vests. Up until the mid-1990's, he used a 1970's burnt umber Fender Stratocaster with an oversized headstock along with Mesa Boogie amplification. He now employs a variety of guitars such as Paul Reed Smiths and Ovations as well as a cream coloured Fender Telecaster. He has also released an album with the side project Stripper's Union Local 518 in 2005.
Attended Queen's University where he studied visual art, later designing many of the bands t-shirts and album art.Random Information
