| Robert Schultzberg was the original drummer for rock band Placebo. Schultzberg joined when the band formed in 1994 when their preferred drummer Steve Hewitt was not available. Schultzberg was a member of the band during the first UK tours and appears on the artwork for the band's first full single Come Home.
Schultzberg toured the first album internationally until October 1996 completing the band's US tour that month, by which point his relationship with Brian Molko had become severely strained. Both Schultzberg and the rest of the band had personal differences, and Schultzberg was said to be unhappy with the other band members' lifestyles. By the time the band made their first TV appearance performing Teenage Angst on The White Room in May 1997 Schultzberg had been replaced by Hewitt.
