| Sandra Collins is a rarity in the field of 1990s dance music. As a female DJ, Collins is almost unique in her international fame, especially in Europe. She got her start on the West Coast of the US in Phoenix, Arizona and into residencies in Los Angeles, and eventually moved towards trance. She used American producers to give herself a unique sound. Collins has since taken part at the second Woodstock festival, as well as in the Tranceport series of influential recordings. She recently released a mix CD under the Perfecto label.
