Stefan Dohr (born 1965) is an orchestral instrumentalist specialising in the horn. He teaches at the Herbert von Karajan Academy and is a guest professor at the Hanns Eisler Music Conservatory in Berlin.

Born in 1965 in Münster, Stefan Dohr studied with Prof. Wolfgang Wilhelmi at the Musikhochschule in Essen and in Cologne with Prof. Erich Penzel, before becoming Solo Horn of the Franfurt Opera at the age of 19.

He has also held this position in the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, the Deutschen Symphonie Orchester Berlin and in the Bayreuth Festspiel Orchestra.

Since 1993 he is Solo Horn of the des Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Stephan Dohr is Professor at the Hochschule Herbert von Karajan in Berlin, also teaching master classes at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris.
