Those who are believed to have the greatest potential of reaching the European final in Athens in May are Sweden's most popular singer Carola, already representing Sweden twice at the contest and who won the whole shebang with Fångad av en stormvind at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 in Rome, plus the Norwegian drag duo Queentastic, who are the hot favourites to win Melodi Grand Prix 2006 besides super-star Trine Rein and the folk-ballad singer from Bergen, Christine Guldbrandsen. The schlager kingMelodifestivalen entries (Sweden)
