Vashti Bunyan is an English folk singer-songwriter. Her 1970 LP, Just Another Diamond Day, is considered an important album in the psych folk genre. Following the release of this LP, Bunyan disappeared from the music industry, until interest in her music was reignited with the psych folk revival of the early 2000s.

Just Another Diamond Day was re-issued on CD and vinyl (with bonus tracks on the CD) in 2000.

In 2005 she made guest appearances on releases by Devendra Banhart and Animal Collective.

In August 2005, she announced the completion of her second album, Lookaftering, which was released in the UK on 17 October 2005, some 35 years after her first album.

Her voice was heard on the DVD Saint Etienne Presents Finisterre (2005) a documentary about London, featuring the music of Saint Etienne.

Just Another Diamond Day was featured in a T-mobile TV advert in 2006.
