| Vivian Fine (28 September 1913 in Chicago, IL - 20 March 2000 in Bennington, VT) was a composer, pianist, and teacher. She studied with Ruth Crawford at the Chicago Musical College with Roger Sessions in New York and at the age of five began studying piano with Djane Lavoie-Herz and counterpoint with Adolf Weidig at CMC. She married sculptor Benjamin Karp in 1935. She died after an automobile accident near Bennington.
