Video games - Crystal Quest

Crystal Quest is an action computer game for the Apple Macintosh and Apple IIgs. It was written by Patrick Buckland for Casady & Greene in 1987, and was ported to the IIgs in 1989 by Bill Heineman.

It was notable for its fast paced gameplay, and for being the first game to support the colour displays on the Macintosh II.

A new version of Crystal Quest was made available on Microsoft's Xbox Live subscription service for the Xbox 360 on February 7, 2006. It was developed and published by Stainless Games with Patrick Buckland's involvement.
