Dokyusei 2 is one of the most famous games published by ELF. It is an eroge based on a very popular game Dokyusei. Dokyusei 2 was released in 1995 in DOS version and in 1997 in Windows version. The graphic is superb and the story is very striking. The player plays the role of a high school male student. In the winter vacation of the last school year (from 22 December to 7 January), he has to choose one girl to be his girl-friend. There are 15 choices for him, some are his classmates and some have to be met in the city. The player has to meet the girls and make friend with one of them until the relation develops to a point that the girl is willing to become his girl-friend. The default name of the main character is Ryunosuke. Of course, this name can be changed to any name the player likes.

The following six girls are Ryunosuke's classmates:

Yui Narusawa (She calls Ryunosuke elder brother and lives with him. She is Ryunosuke's stepsister)
Tomomi Mizuno (She has been a good friend of Ryunosuke since they were small children)
Izumi Shinohara (She is a friend of Tomomi and is the daughter of rich family. She is also the captain of the school archery club)
Yoko Minamikawa(She often quarrels with Ryunosuke. Motorcycles are her hobby)
Minori Kato (She secretly works part-time in a tuckshop in the name of Hiroko, since high school students in Japan are not allowed to legally work in part-time jobs. At high school, she wears oversized glasses and wears her long hair in ponytails)
Karen Maijima (She seldom goes to school since she works as a TV star, singer and model)

The following nine characters are not classmates of Ryunosuke:

Misako Narusawa (She is the mother of Yui and the stepmother of Ryunosuke)
Kozue Tsuzuki (She is a schoolmate of Ryunosuke, two years his junior)
Misa Tanaka (She comes to Ryunosuke's town in vacation. She is one of the characters from the first Dokyusei game)
Misato Nonomura (She works as a bus tour guide)
Azumi Yasuda (She is a young baby-sitter)
Mirei Katagiri (She is the homeroom teacher of Ryunosuke)
Sakurako Sugimoto (She is a patient in 88 Hospital who gradually builds up her strength so that she could live a normal life)
Sachiko Nagashima (She is the landlady of the Nagashima Hostel in Toji Onsen)
Kumiko Nagashima (She is the daughter of Sachiko)
