Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2 is a video game based upon the popular anime series, Dragon Ball Z. Super Sonic Warriors 2 is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors and was developed by Cavia and published by Atari for the Nintendo DS. It was released in 2005.

Super Sonic Warriors 2 is a fighting game without cel-shaded graphics.

Gameplay

Story Mode

Story Mode in Super Sonic Warriors 2 consists of a board game-like adventure. In this mode, you enjoy an individual character's story as Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, Gotenks, Ginyu, Frieza, Dr. Gero, Android #18, Cell, Buu, Cooler, and Broly travel around the 155 different levels defeating enemies. There are adapted and original "what-if" storylines that allow characters to power up. After you complete the game, your support uses increase by 1.

Z-Battle

Z-Battle allows players to compete against the computer-controlled opponents. The following prize can be won: Maximum Mode

VS Battle

VS Battle mode allows a player to battle via wireless communication. Each participant needs a Nintendo DS and a Game Card.

Maximum

Made up of three ranks, Novice Rank, Hard Rank, and Mania Rank. An advanced player may clear this difficult mode to unlock Vegeta (Evil).

Novice Rank

A simple rank for intermediate fighters.

LEVEL 1- Ginyu, Dr. Gero, and Yamcha/Tien.

LEVEL 2- Vegeta, Dr. Gero, and Hercule.

LEVEL 3- Frieza, Ginyu, and Zarbon/Dodoria.

LEVEL 4- Dr. Gero, Android #18, and Android #17/Android #16.

LEVEL 5- Android #18 and Cell (2nd).

LEVEL 6- Goku, Gohan (Kid), and Krillin.

LEVEL 7- Gohan (Teen) and Trunks (Teen).

LEVEL 8- Piccolo, Krillin, and Yamcha/Tien.

LEVEL 9- Piccolo and Dende.

LEVEL 10- Goku, Krillin, and Vegeta.

LEVEL 11- Gohan (Kid), Krillin, and Dende.

LEVEL 12- Goku, Gohan (Kid), and Bardock.

LEVEL 13- Vegeta, Ginyu, and Zarbon/Dodoria.

LEVEL 14- Dr. Gero, Android #18, and Cell (2nd).

LEVEL 15- Goku, Gohan (Kid), and Piccolo.

LEVEL 16- Ginyu, Frieza, and Cooler.

LEVEL 17- Piccolo, Vegeta, and Yamcha/Tien.

LEVEL 18- Gotenks, Gohan (Kid), and Cell Jr.

LEVEL 19- Trunks (Teen), Trunks (Super), and Dabura.

LEVEL 20- Goku, Vegeta, and Bardock.

Hard Rank

A more challenging rank for advanced fighters.

LEVEL 1- Metal Cooler and Mecha Frieza.

LEVEL 2- Goku, Gohan (Kid), and Shenron.

LEVEL 3- Piccolo, Piccolo, and Piccolo.

LEVEL 4- Krillin, Frieza, and Goku (Super).

LEVEL 5- Cell (2nd), Dr. Gero, and Cell (2nd).

LEVEL 6- Android #18, Android #17/Android #16, and Cell (2nd).

LEVEL 7- Vegeta (Super), Piccolo, and Yamcha/Tien.

LEVEL 8- Dr. Gero, Mecha Frieza, and Metal Cooler.

LEVEL 9- Gohan (Teen), Trunks (Teen), and Piccolo.

LEVEL 10- Frieza, Cooler, and Mecha Frieza.

LEVEL 11- Goku, Gohan (Teen), and Vegeta.

A difficult rank for advanced fighters.

LEVEL 4- Vegeta, Vegeta (Super), and Vegeta (Evil).

LEVEL 5- Cell, Broly, and Dabura.

LEVEL 6- Goku (Super), Gohan (Teen), and Vegeta (Evil).

LEVEL 7- Goku (Super), Vegeta (Super), and Trunks (Super).

LEVEL 8- Buu (Good), Buu (Evil), and Hercule.

LEVEL 9- Vegeta (Evil), Buu (Evil), and Dabura.

LEVEL 10- Piccolo, Cell, and Metal Cooler.

LEVEL 11- Goku (Super), Vegeta (Super), and Metal Cooler.

LEVEL 18- Gotenks (Super 3), Vegeta (Evil), and Buu (Evil).

LEVEL 19- Buu (Evil), Gotenks (Super 3), and Broly.

LEVEL 20- "God" Goku (Super)

Free Battle

This mode is to select any character you want and enjoy team battles.
