Fade to Black is a video game, released in 1995 by Delphine Software International. It is the sequel to their earlier game Flashback: The Quest for Identity
. Delphine Software International has since gone bankrupt and no longer exists.

You take control of Conrad Hart, the hero from Flashback, who has been imprisoned by his old enemy, the Morphs. Gaining the trust and assistance of the mysterious Ancients, Conrad must escape and fight off the Morph invasion, not knowing who he can trust...

The game has very different gameplay than its predecessor Flashback
because, unlike Flashback, the game is in full flat shaded 3D, over the shoulder action, with almost no platform sequences. The style of the game is action/adventure and it is considered the predecessor (by almost a year) of Tomb Raider
.

Unlike its predecessor (Flashback), Fade to Black failed to impress the gaming public because of its different gameplay, original execution and somewhat clumsy interface.

The game was released for the PC and PlayStation.
