Mabinogi is a network game released by Nexon. It is inspired by Celtic mythology. The Welsh word mabinogi is found in the original manuscripts of the Mabinogion.

In the game, characters grow over time. Many players do quests and errands to gain experience, money and items. Eating different kinds of foods changes the appearance of characters. It may make them fatter or thinner, and may also raise/lower some of their stats. Players may play music composed by other players using musical instruments. The more the players practice certain skills such as cooking, fighting, playing instruments, etc. the experience for these (and the one for character level as well) go up. However Abilitiy Points (obtained when the player goes up a level, ages or has done important quests) are required, in addition to skill experience, to make these skills become better.

These features do not have clear analogues in the original mythology.

The game is available in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
