Precursors is a video game from Kiev-based developer Deep Shadows, who also developed the game Boiling Point: Road to Hell
. It is based in a futuristic sci-fi environment where it seems, that many factions are engaged in a war. The player will be able to explore many different planets and as well as traveling through space to complete certain missions, obtain information, as well as buying weapons and supplies in a free-roaming environment. The game itself is described as a "mix of RPG, FPS, and space simulation".

Deep Shadows anticipates that the game will be released in 2007.

Space Combat

What is notable in this game is that the player will be able to fly spaceships and be able to engage in space combat against other factions from within these spaceships. Spaceships can dock with space stations, and with one another so that the player can switch between them.

Demonstrations

The game was first demonstrated in August 2005 at the German Game Convention in Leipzig, Germany.
