Video games - Star Trek: Klingon

Star Trek: Klingon was a Star Trek computer game for Microsoft Windows, released by Simon & Schuster Interactive in 1996 and directed by Jonathan Frakes.

The perspective is from a human who, under the guidance of Gowron, is going to experience a holodeck simulation that will bring him in the position of a young Klingon in order to learn Klingon idiosyncrasy and behaviour. In the simulation he assumes the role of Pok, a young Klingon cadet serving aboard a Bird-of-prey.

Gameplay was mostly a series of video clips driven by clicking on "right" or "wrong" objects, depending on the situation at hand, thus considered an Interactive movie.

The game included several novel technologies, including a trainer of Klingon language with a voice recognition engine to check pronunciation.
