The Little Mermaid is the title of a video game for the NES published by Capcom. It is loosely based on the Disney film of the same name and is a single player, side-scrolling game where you control the heroine on a quest to defeat the evil sea queen. A version of the game was planned for the Sega Genesis but was never released.Game playThe gameplay is similar to other Capcom games such as Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers and Duck Tales in that the playable character shoots air bubbles from her tail that when they hit certain enemies can be pick up and thrown at other enenemies or bosses.
